MERMAID
As I trod upon the pure white sands
in the wind I hear your name,
Spoken with beauty, tenderness, love
the sea calms as I look upon it,
Hoping to catch a glimpse of you...
My Love, My Angel, My Mermaid...
I close my eyes and you come to me,
feeling the tenderness in your hands
as they rest upon my shoulders, I reach
out, only to find you where a dream.
A dream that shall come true...
Fulfilling my life, that I may now rest,
for I have awoken and found you...
My dreams, my life, my love complete...
My Love undying for a Sweet Mermaid,
who comes from afar to comfort me...
My love for you is like a river flowing to the
sea...
My love is like a mountain reaching for the
sky...
My love runs deep as any ocean, higher than any
tree
My angel I love you forever, for eternity...
Meet me on a cloud, high above,
feel my love as it surrounds you...
Encasing your body with a shield of
passion that no-one can break...
leaving an opening for your three special men...

The Loreley
I do not know what haunts me,
What saddened my mind all day;
An age-old tale confounds me,
A spell I cannot allay.
The air is cool and in twilight
The Rhine's dark waters flow;
The peak of the mountain in highlight
Reflects the evening glow.
There sits a lovely maiden
Above so wondrous fair,
With shining jewels laden,
She combs her golden hair.
It falls through her comb in a shower,
And over the valley rings
A song of mysterious power
That lovely maiden sings.
The boatman in his small skiff is
Seized by a turbulent love,
No longer he marks where the cliff is,
He looks to the mountain above.
I think the waves must fling him
Against the reefs nearby,
And that did with her singing
The lovely Loreley.

Mermaids
The Sunlight shines down on the waves,
They swim among the beams, are they a myth,
Or very real, things never as they seems
A child's eye can see the truth,
What we've all hidden well,
Dismiss as what we won't believe,
in dreams we do not tell.
Their voices fill the ocean air,
The night is their disguise,
They choose the ones allowed to see,
Just where their kingdom lies.
Not far beyond the coral reefs,
Is a world where love begins,
The oysters with their pearl filled shells,
Reflect their sequence fins.
Without the pureness of ones heart,
To keep these dreams in view,
We'd never see what could be ours,
If we didn't work to make it true.

Pergrin and the Mermaid
One fine afternoon in September, a century or two
ago,
a fisherman by the name of Pergrin
went to a recess in the rock,
near Pen Cemmes, where he chanced upon
a sea maiden doing her hair,
and he took the water lady prisoner to his boat.
She wept copiously at being captured,
and with her hair all disheveled, pled for her
release.
She promised the fisherman "three shouts
in the time of your greatest need"
and she would aid him as best she could.
So, in wonder and fear, he let her go.
Time passed without Pergrin ever seeing
her after this; but one hot afternoon,
when the sea was pretty calm, and the fishermen
had no thought of any danger, behold his old
acquaintance showing her head and locks,
and shouting out in a loud voice for him
to take up his nets at once. Pergrin and his
companion
instantly obeyed the message, took up the nets,
and headed for shore. In they went,
past the bar, and by the time they had reached
the Pwll Cam the most terrible storm had
overspread the sea,
while he and his companion were safe on land.
Twice nine others had gone out with them,
but they were all drowned without having
received the warning of the water lady.
